October was "Spooky Magic Night"
A small, but dedicated group braved the ghosts, goblins and vampires to attend the October meeting. Dale Radke brought out the Halloween jokes again this year. There was "sheet" everywhere after he finished showing his mysterious triangle puzzle.
Bill Crowley performed a "John Clayton" effect with modifed cards made into vampires. Before it was all over, there was an urge to walk over to the blood clinic across the street. Bill's next effect had Maria signing a card which Bill later found and revealed. Thank you for performing Bill.
Jon Hughett did a surprising "quick change" were his loud hawaiian shirt changed into a black one with a Ouija™ Board! Using a new key never seen before, Jon did his wonderful "haunted key" routine. For his closing, Jon did his ghostly "card to baggie" effect. Good work Jon.
Mike Miller did a "Numerology" routine where the 7D in the prediction envelope sealed the deal. Then Mike did a random number routine where four digit numbers were used to create a new number and Mike's prediction was a handful of playing cards that matched that number. Finally MIke used a red and blue deck for a puzzling routine of turned over cards and switches. Thanks Mike.
David Swoboda did a new version of "Living and Dead". This version used photos of silent film stars and the movies "The Walking Dead" and "Design for Living". Prospective new member Raime Townsend was successful in finding the one star who stood out from the others. Thank you David, and welcome aboard to Raime!
In attendance were: Bill Crowley, Jon Hughett, John Kurtz, Maria Kurtz, Gerald Michels, Mike Miller, Richard Mossey, Andy Pugens, Bob Salzer, David Swoboda, Raime Townsend, and Angie Pugens.
